What was the highlight of Wadi Rum Dream Camp

Memorable, excellent, enjoyable, fun, a real desert experience.

We just really liked the whole experience. There is currently conflict in the middle east, so there were only our group of four and one other couple. Irrespective we were treated royally and enjoyed the camp and location. The star gazing was a highlight for us and the whole thing was truly memorable. The weather in December was cold at night but sunny and pleasant during the day. Great place.

We liked it all. There is nothing else to say.

The highlight of our Jordan trip.

Nayel’s Jeep tour was exceptional and the highlight of our whole trip! During this, we learned about Bedouin culture, had some maklube, and, of course, were blown away by the scenery. Abdullah upgraded our room to a bubble suit for free (we were lucky as the camp was not busy on arrival). In all, I can unreservedly recommend it.

Wonderful

Love the hospitality in Jordan particularly at this camp. The team went beyond expectation; waiting us at the tourist area, complimentary lunch, upgrading to dome tent, free flow of hot tea, good dinner and great staff. Najjad taught us about stars and the constellation, and some other bedouin knowleadge. Good place, and we really loving the experience. Thumbs up!

Hope for cleaner room with some basic amenities like shampoo/conditioner, bath towel (only small towel provided), and bottled water in the room. Its great to have this after long jeep tour.

Beautiful camp! Very nice and available staff. The owner of the camp personally supervised everything and even upgraded us to one of the best rooms (bubbles?). Our guide was very nice and helped us make the most of our short stay!! The jeep tour was perfect and the camel ride was absolutely amazing!! The chef (Majdi?) makes amazing food and was also very sweet! It was the best experience we had in our trip to Jordan!

A truly unforgettable experience — warm people, breathtaking landscape, and moments of pure magic under the stars.

Wadi Rum Dream Camp was honestly one of the most special places I’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with so much warmth — it felt like being with family. The landscape is absolutely surreal, and the jeep tour was next-level (like seriously, it felt like we were on Mars). The food was delicious and homemade, and you could tell how much care went into everything. But the real magic was the stargazing — I’ve never seen the sky like that before. It was quiet, vast, and just… wow. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you.

Everything was perfect! I did the sunrise camel tour and the 4x4 tour and it was amazing! My guide for the 4x4 tour was Kaleb and he was photographer too haha

There isn't much pressure in the shower, but I guess that's because you're literally in the desert!

Perfect stay

This camp is great, the personal is really helpful and they are always attentive to our needs, they explain very well all the activities available and how can you expend your time in the camp, this was definitely the place with the best personal we found in Jordania! Btw the dinner was delicious and the tour provided by the camp is just awesome, the guide did everything for us to enjoy it.

Incredible location, fabulous staff and lovely atmosphere

Absolutely stunning location and the staff can’t do enough for you. There are excellent tours available but no hard selling, just available if you want them. We were upgraded to a bubble tent as it was quiet and the view was simply stunning. Lovely camp area with campfire and free tea all day and the meals are delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic stay in Wadi Rum

Wonderful experience in the Arabic desert. Everything was perfect. The lantern-lit rock hill behind the camp created a very romantic atmosphere in the evening. Enjoying our dinner in the outdoors against such a backdrop made the experience truly unforgettable. The communal dinner, with the main dishes (chicken and veggies) cooked underground in traditional manners, was delicious. Our one night stay was also packed with activities. We only had time for a two-hour jeep ride before sunset but it was a lot of fun — we got to climb onto a sand dune, saw some ancient Nabatean inscriptions on rock walls, got our face painted with red powder coming straight from a rock, stroll through a pretty canyon (with the heads of T.E. Lawrence and others carved the rock), and saw sunset at a nice spot. We also really enjoyed the star gazing tour after dinner and learned not just about the stars but animal tracks in the desert. Staying in a dome tent was a great experience. For some reason, we weren’t able to book a dome on Booking because we exceeded the two person limit. In reality, however, the dome can accommodate up to 4. Luckily, we got upgraded to a dome free of extra charge. An hour of camel ride after breakfast rounded our fantastic stay at Dream Camp.

What was the highlight of Wadi Rum Dream Camp

Surreal!

This whole camp feels very surreal: you have these beautiful traditional Beduin tents and bubble tents in the middle of a calm part of the Wadi Rum desert. We stayed in a bubble tent and were positively surprised by how comfortable and modern it was (like a normal hotel room in a city). The staff is very nice - special compliments to the chef who made every meal delicious, we really enjoyed his cooking! The Camp offers several activities, and we went for a sunset camel ride (very friendly guide who takes good care of his camels, it shows), did some stargazing with a guide who was such a pleasure to listen to, and we did a 6-hour jeep tour to see the park. We felt like we were taken care of very well. All in all, great experience and I definitely recommend staying here!

The airconditioning in our room wasn’t functioning during the day (that would be too much for the power generator to handle), that was the only minor point. However there is loads of space in the camp to sit elsewhere. And since we went in November, it cools down pretty quickly in the evening, so we still slept very well.

Location is perfect, and staff are amazing. We received a free upgrade to a dome on arrival, which was appreciated. Organised desert tours were terrific. Star gazing was an excellent experience - informative and engaging.
